Fine Art

Before the digital revolution, there was fine art and commercial art. Fine art was where it all started for me. This website is a glimpse into my journey.

Lotuses In Winter | Acrylics

Note:
“Lotuses In Winter” triggered unsettling responses in some people. It may have been Trypophobia, which is defined as the “fear of clustered holes like those of lotus seed pods.” I was drawn to the scene because I was intrigued by the fact that beautiful lotuses look so life-affirming at one time of the year, but quite eerie at a different time of year.

Ed Opens His Heart To Love | Salvaged sardine can, spray paint, acrylics and glitter

* With the exception of  my portrait of Janice Tervo, where I used Photoshop to merge a photograph of her with an acrylic painting of primroses (symbols of good fortune), most of the work displayed here were created with classic art and modelmaking materials.
